How it works
Coded GCS, SBP and RR (each 0–4); RTS = 0.9368·GCS + 0.7326·SBP + 0.2908·RR. Range 0–7.84.
Key points
- Higher values indicate better physiology.
- RTS < 4 generally warrants trauma-centre transfer.
- Used within TRISS outcome methodology.
